Originally this was going to be four separate small panels, but as the work progressed they told me that they wanted to be kept together. I quilted the panels separately and joined them with machine lace. The basic panels are hyperembellished with machine and hand embroidery and bead embroidery, and in the top one - "Air" I put in a set of three open "windows" filled with machine lace.

I'm very happy with the way the faces turned out on this one; they're all worked by choosing different shades of embroidery thread. I can't draw faces, but apparently I'm better with a needle than with a pencil.
